What is Coaching?

Coaching is an intimate relationship, where we work together to reach your health goals. I am passionate about helping you learn how to heal your own health and body, using proven results-based methods and techniques that you can use for the rest of your life.

I help you address your health challenges by looking at the most important place – the root cause(s) – and from that place, give you all the tools, techniques and support to help you heal your body, mind and spirit. I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve your health goals.

I have studied all of the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approaches work best for you; there may be more than one at different stages of your life.

Most modern approaches to nutrition focus on calories and macronutrients (carbs, fats and proteins). Instead of creating lists of unnecessary restrictions, labelling foods as “good” or “bad”*, I coach you to create a healthy life in a way that is fun, flexible and free of absolutes.

No one diet works for everyone. No single lifestyle works for everyone. I will help you discover food and lifestyle choices that uniquely support you. I will also help you to make gradual lifelong changes that enable you to reach your health goals – because we all know that short-term “fads” rarely, if ever, work.
